Promise of Shadow by Justina Ireland review (eng&hun) | spoiler free

Hi folks!

I’m back with a review! February is Black History Month so when I looked at my TBR for what to read I instantly knew that I should prioratize reading this book. I got Promise of Shadow through a giveaway almost a year ago so it was about time to finally read it! Also what I did not know about the book previously that it has Greek mythology in it. I’m a huge geek for all mythology so I was even more happy to pick up it. At first I was quite enjoying myself, then romance happened.

A Gathering of Shadows by V. E. Schwab review (eng&hun) | spoiler free

Hi folks!

I’ve been lacking reviews I know, exam period got the better of me but I’ll try to get back to regular reviews. Finally I can bring you my review of A Gathering of Shadows, the second book in The Shades of Magic trilogy. I have a spoiler free review of the first book up if you want to read that too. It almost took me a year to get to the second book of the series and I don’t know why, because I did like the first book. But I got this for Christmas from Sarah and now I will make sure to not take a year to get to the last one!

The Hero of Ages by Brandon Sanderson (eng&hun) | spoiler free

Hi folks!

This is finally, or sadly, the review for the last book in the Mistborn trilogy. I have a spoiler free review up of the first book, The Final Empire, and I have one up of the second book, The Well of Ascension. If you haven’t read those books I suggest you do, because there will be spoilers for those two for sure, it’s hard to not have any.

The Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson review (eng&hun) | spoiler free

Hi folks!

I’m back with another review! It seems like I either have too many to write or I have none at all, there is no inbetween. However, I present you another review of a second book in a series. I wrote a review of The Final Empire that you can find here if you haven’t read it yet. I’ll try to keep spoilers out of this one, but there will be probably spoilers for the first book, so if you haven’t read it yet, make sure you read it and you come back to see if it’s worth continuing!

The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson review (eng&hun)| spoiler free

Hi folks!

I’m back with a book review, and this time I’m finally quite in time with it and not weeks late! This book was on my 2017 Yearly TBR, but I couldn’t get to it, so naturally I added it to this year’s TBR as well. I almost didn’t get to it but then I saw someone selling the box set for quite a cheap price and I just couldn’t not buy it honestly! It took me a bit over two weeks to read, mostly because I was quite busy during October. But finally I can bring you my review!

Shadow’s Son by Jon Sprunk review (eng&hun) | spoiler free

Hi folks!

So back in April I bought the Shadow Saga for a really low price. However I am just getting to it now and I have to say, I’m really glad I bought it for a low price because if I bought this for full price I would be really mad. The book itself is just mediocre and not at all what I was expecting from it.

One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake review (eng&hun) | spoiler free

Hi folks!

I’m really trying my best to catch up on the reviews I have left, I think I’m doing rather well for myself. Today I have the second book of the Three Dark Crowns series. I read the first book last year and it took me about a month to finish reading. So I was a little catious going into this book, I couldn’t be sure if I was going to like it or not. Surprisingly I flew through this book and it quickly became one of my favourite books this year!

I have a review up of the first book in English and in Hungarian as well.

Hi folks!

Here is another book review! I know this review is more than a month late… I really needed to catch up on my reviews but at least it’s here now! I mentioned in my wrap up that I got the book from the lovely Sarah for my birthday and I’m so grateful, especially since I loved the book quite a lot!

The Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan review (eng&hun) | spoiler free

Hi folks!

I’m back with a different review, because now I’m reviewing Rick Riordan’s The Kane Chronicles as a whole, all three books. I’m kind of behind my reviews so I decided to just make one post for this so I can catch up on them! I got the box set by Laura from over Twitter as my bookish wish and I’m really grateful for that! Sadly after reading the series I have to say this is my least favourite out of all the Riordan books I’ve read so far.

  • The Throne of Fire: 3.5 stars
  • The Serpent’s Shadow: 3.5 stars
