It has been ages since I put out a review, I know… I am quite bad at sitting down and making sense of my thoughts of a book I have read. And now I will try to put my thoughts of 3 books into one post. Been a while since I did a review. And been quite a while since I’ve done an ARC (advanced read copy) review. But I received one after a long time and it made me even happier that I could get one from an author that I’ve been wanting to read more books by and support. And I’m so happy that I was lucky enough to get an e-ARC of it. If you are looking for a diverse read, look no further! I definitely do recommend everyone to read this book if you want to read more queer books!

Can you believe I’m bringing you a full review after a long, long time? Honestly I didn’t expect either but here we are. I read this book 9 years ago when I was like 17 (which thinking back I’m not sure how good of an idea that was but that’s for another day) and with all the Squid Game hype (I still haven’t watched the show) and The Boyz’s latest release, Maverick got me in the mood to finally reread Battle Royale, which is actually an old favourite. It crazy how many things I missed out on as a teen and I have a lot of thoughts about the book so here we are. I buddy read it with my friend Rebeka and honestly I haven’t been this excited about reading a book and then discussing it with someone so I’m really happy I got around reading it. I will include spoilers in this one because I need to talk about things in details so if you havent read the book or saw the movie I suggest you go read it first and comeback if you don’t want to be spoiled.
Eltudjátok hinni, hogy végre hozok egy teljes értékelést egy nagyon, nagyon hosszú idő után? Őszintén szólva én se hittem volna, de hát mégis itt vagyunk. Ezt a könyvet 9 éve olvastam, amikor 17 körül voltam (így visszagondolva, nem vagyok benne biztos, hogy nagyon jó ötlet volt, de ez egy beszélgetés egy másik napra) és a Squid Game körülötti felhajtás (amit egyébként még mindig nem láttam) és a The Boyz legújabb száma, a Maverick miatt hangulatba jöttem a könyvhöz, és végre eldönöttem, újra olvasom ezt a régi kedvencet. Hihetetlen mennyi minden elsuhant a fejem mellett tiniként, amikor először olvastam ezt a könyvet és most nagyon sok gondolatom van a könyvvel kapcsolatban. Egyébként együtt olvastam az egyik barátommal, Rebekával és rég volt már, hogy ennyire izgatott voltam könyv olvasása és megbeszélése miatt. Nagyon örülök, hogy végre újraolvastam. Az értékelésben lesznek spoilerek, mivel szeretnék bitonyos dolgokról részletesen beszélni, szóval ha még nem olvastad a könyvet vagy láttad a filmet, akkor ajánlom, hogy először olvasd el, majd gyere vissza, ha nem akarod el spoilerezni a történetet.

Finally I’m bringing you another manga series review after quite a while. The first and last one was Fairy Tail’s manga series review back in 2019. Honestly I’m kind of slow with completing a manga series as they tend to be quite long and reviewing just volumes doesn’t work for me for some reasons. But I will try to get through series faster. As of now I started reading Kimetsu no Yaiba and Jujutsu Kaisen, we will see how far I get in reading them.
Végre hozok nektek egy újabb manga sorozat értékelést hosszú idő után. Az első és utolsó értékelésem a Fairy Tail manga sorozat értékelése volt még 2019-ben. Őszintén szólva egy kicsit lassú vagyok, ami a manga sorozatok befejezését illeti, hiszen általánosságban elég hosszú egy sorozat és csak egyes kötetek értékelése számomra nem igazán működik. De mindenképp igyekszem majd gyorsabban egy-egy sorozat végére jutni. Jelenleg a Kimetsu no Yaiba és a Jujutsu Kaisen sorozatokba kezdtem bele, meglátjuk, hogyan haladok majd velük.

I know I’m horrible lately with putting out book reviews (am I really a book blogger?)… University is kicking my butt but I am here to bring you the review of the last book in the Three Dark Crowns series. I started off the series with skepticism and I grew to like it. Now the series came to an end and since I reviewed the other books here I wanted to bring this too. There is one problem, I only reviewed the first book in Hungarian, which you can find here. You can find the review of the second book here and the review of the third book here. And so let’s get into the review of the fourth and last book of this series. I will try to keep it as spoiler free as possible but there might be still spoilers for the previous books if you have not read those just yet.
Tudom, szörnyű vagyok mostanság, ami a könyvértékelések írását jelenti (tényleg könyves blogger lennék?)… Az egyetem lefoglal most rendesen, ennek ellenére mégis szerettem volna nektek el hozni a Három sötét korona című sorozat lezáró kötetének az értékelését. Szkepticizmussal álltam a sorozathoz a kezdetekben ám az idő múlásával egészen megszerettem. A sorozat most lezárul, és mivel szinte az összes előző könyvet értékeltem itt, az utolsó kötetről és hoznám az értékelést. Az első kötetet csak magyarul értékeltem, amit itt találhattok meg. A második kötet értékelését itt, a harmadik kötetét pedig itt találhatjátok meg. És akkor lássuk is a negyedik kötet értékelését. Igyekszem annyira spoiler mentesen megírni ezt az értékelést, amennyire lehet, ám így is akadhatnak spoilerek az előző kötetekre vonatkozóan, ha esetleg azokat még nem olvastátok volna.

Finally I am bringing you a review after a long, long time… But I wanted to talk about my favourite book of the year. I’ve been in quite a slump, but I read this book twice and hopefully I can move out of the slump soon.
Végre újra hoztam nektek egy értékelést egy nagyon hosszú idő után… Mindenképp szerettem volna megosztani veletek a gondolataimat az ezévi kedvenc könyvemről. Egy elég csúnya olvasási válságban vagyok, viszont ezt a könyvet kétszer is sikerült elolvasnom, szóval remélem, hogy lassan sikerül ki verekednem magam belőle.

After two years I finally came around reading the second book in The Illuminae Files (bless Scribd’s existence honestly). I recently re-read the first book, Illuminae, and adored it just as much as I did for the first time. So when I saw that Gemina is available on Scribd, I knew I had to read it. Maybe this one didn’t get that strong feelings out of me but I still really enjoyed it and flew through it. This is probably going to be a little shorter review and might have spoilers for the first book so if you haven’t read that do read it and come back! I’m catching up on the reviews I was supposed to post last year. Windwitch is the 2nd book of The Witchlands series. The first book, Truthwitch was one of the first books I reviewed here on my blog. If you want to read that review you can find it here. To be honest the star rating changed from what I gave it back in 2017, now it’s more of a 3 star rating for me. Especially after reading the second book. I like to give a chance to series where I don’t necessarily liked the first book, the second can always redeem the series. This was the case here too. Also let me tell, these covers are gorgeous! I’ve never been one to be really caught up on covers but I definitely want to collect the series with this cover.
