Books Dreamcatcher Yoohyeon Has Read

Hi folks!

I’m back again with yet another list of books that a kpop idol has read. The first of this series was The Boyz’s Juyeon, second was Onewe’s Hyungu and the third was GOT7’s Jinyoung and the fourth and last as of now was Seventeen’s Wonwoo. So next in the series I brought 5 books that Dreamcatcher’s Yoohyeon has read. This post could not have been written without this twitter thread where @/bettarain Twitter user complied the books that Dreamcatcher has read or recommended. There are books read by other members as well on this list but I thought I would bring books that were read by Yoohyeon only so I definitely recommend you to check out the thread on Twitter!

Books Seventeen Wonwoo Has Read

Hi folks!

I ended up taking a break last week. These past two weeks I really just felt exhausted by everything so I had to take a break but I am back with full swing! And I thought I would bring you the 4th instalment of this series, where I gather what books have kpop idols read. The first of this series was The Boyz’s Juyeon, second was Onewe’s Hyungu and the third was GOT7’s Jinyoung. This time, as the title suggests, I brought 5 books that Wonwoo from Seventeen has read. This post could not have been written without this twitter thread where @/ohmy2woo Twitter user complied the books Wonwoo has mentioned. Without further ado, let’s see those five books!

Books GOT7 Jinyoung Has Read

Hi folks!

I am bringing you the 3rd instalment of this series that I started here on my blog last year. I have already made posts about The Boyz’s Juyeon and Onewe’s Hyungu if you want to check those out! I was debating quite some which idol should I do next, and doing my bit of research I ended up picking Jinyoung as he had read a lot of books! As with the other idols I picked 5 of the books he had read so you all can get a taste of what kind of things he likes to read. But without further ado, let’s see those five books!

Kpop Groups as Book Genres #2

Hi folks!

The first post of this series went live in 2020 and I think quite a lot of people enjoyed it so I thought I would bring it back for a second round with new groups! This time I gave myself a little challenge because some of these groups were hard to actually give just one genre as they have quite a versatile discography. But I like a good challenge so here we go!

Disclaimer: before going on with the post, these are just my thoughts and what genre pops into my mind when I listen to the groups’ songs, or watch their MVs, if you think differently, that’s completely okay, you don’t have to agree with me! Let me know in the comments down below, what genre would you give to these groups!

Books Onewe Hyungu Has Read

Hi folks!

I am back again with the second instalment to this series of mine, books that idols have read. I definitely would love to grow this into a big series and so I decided to bring the second post, dedicated to Onewe’s Hyungu. This one thread over on Twitter helped me a lot bringing this post to life, so definitely go check it out to get to know more books that Hyungu has read! I will try not to include books that a previous idol has read, in this case Juyeon, but that probably will get harder and harder as time goes on. Anyhow, let’s see what books have Hyungu read.

Top 21 K-Pop B-Side Songs of 2021

Hi folks!

I posted my top 21 list of my favourite k-pop title tracks and it would be fair if I didn’t make a list for my favourite b-side songs, because there are a lot! I actually found myself listening to more b-sides this year than last year, there definitely have been albums where a couple of b-side songs could have been title tracks (I’m looking directly at CIX especially). And I feel like we often end up just talking about title tracks and not pay as much attention to b-sides as they deserve. So here I am with a whole list of 21 songs! As with the other list I ask you not to be offended if your favourite artist or song is not on this list, these are all my personal favourites and it pains me already to choose just 21 songs when there are so many great b-side tracks. And unlike with the other post, where I tried not to have multiple songs by the same groups, I’m not even going to try here, especially when the groups released more than one album during the year. With the disclaimer out of the way, let’s see my favourite b-side songs!

Top 21 K-Pop songs of 2021

Hi folks!

I know I am very behind on all year end posts, to be honest I just wanted to focus on Christmas so far because I was forced to socialize on the 24th, the 25th and the 26th as well. But I read Lina’s post about her own top 21 list and decided I should do mine as well! Putting together this list ended up not being so easy because turns out, I enjoyed b-side songs so much more than title tracks, and all that made it to my list here are all very well loved so it lowkey pained me to put them in order (order, which might change with time honestly). But without further ado, let’s see my top 21 favourite k-pop title tracks of the year. I will try my best not to put on multiple songs by the same group, but I can’t make any promises really. This is really just based on my own personal taste, please don’t get mad if you don’t see your favourite here of if your favourite isn’t higher up on the list.

Maverick & Battle Royale

Hi folks!

Last week I posted my review of Battle Royale by Koushun Takami after I finally re-read the book. Actually this music video was the reason why I picked up the book to reread! This is hands down one of the best music video that takes inspiration from a book that I’ve seen. And so I decided to dedicate a whole post for it because the references to the book are perfect! And no, not the movie, I watched the movie after reading the book and a lot of things are missing from the movie that are in the book and in the MV. There are going to be spoilers (kinda) about the book so if you haven’t read it and don’t want to be spoiled go read it and then comeback! For those who don’t care or have read the book already or saw the movie, let’s go and see all the references I could catch in the MV!

5 K-Pop MV Based on Books

Hi folks!

Bringing you another fun post. Last year I made a post about k-pop music videos that were based on Alice in Wonderland and I thought I would bring you another post like that. Though this one now is not for one specific book but for 5 different books. Hope you will enjoy this post and hopefully I can bring you more posts like this in the future. Now, without further ado, let’s see the songs and the books!

Kpop Favourites of 2021 #1 (eng&hun)

Hi folks! Sziasztok!

I haven’t posted anything kpop related this year so far so I thought I would start off with my favourites of this year so far, because there are a lot of new songs and groups I fell in love with even to my surprised. This post is going to be a mix of title tracks and b-sides and not really in order as they came out this year, but however I remember them. So without further do, let’s see the songs!
