Book Hooked Box April Unboxing

Hi folks!

I know this unboxing is a little late compared to everyone else’s who already got their boxes. For some reason my box arrived later than everyone else’s. But it’s here and I can deliver you this unboxing post! April’s theme was Rebellious Relations.

First I found the spoiler card that had all the items listed in the box. And the Question of the Month card which reads: “Who is your favourite rebellious character and why?” I have answered this question on my bookstagram account in my unboxing story. (If you aren’t yet, you can follow me here, shameless plug). But my answer was Nina, from Six of Crows and basically because she doesn’t give a shit about what society expects from her and does things her way, and I love it.

Next thing I found in the box was this candle from Ash & Quill Candles. Its name is ‘Let Rebellion Burn’ and it’s scented with Sparks & Embers. It’s quite colourful and if I can be honest with you, it smells quite like a male spray/perfume. I’m not complaining, I quite enjoy those scents.

We have the usual chocolate and hot chocolate pair for the box. The chocolate box includes 10 chocolates! How cool is that! To be honest by the time this post goes up these all are gone, they are totally delicious.

My favourite item for this box is definitely the Ketterdam pin by Felfira Moon Designs. If you read my blog, you probably know how big of a fan I am of Leigh Bardugo and Six of Crows so when it was revealed I knew I had to get the box.

Also by Felfira Moon Designs we have a bookmark that was exclusively designed for the box. And we have this lovely art work by Annamarie DiMonte that features the two main characters of the book of this box!

And the book of this month is We Set The Dark On Fire by Tehlor Kay Mejia. It’s a YA fantasy book that features a queer latina main character. To be honest I don’t want to know more about it, since I love to go into books knowing almost nothing. If you want to know more here is the Goodreads link for the book.

So this was my unboxing for the April box of Book Hooked Box. I’m really happy with it and I’m so happy to see Sarah’s hard work with my own eyes.
