December Wrap Up

Hi folks!

At last, the last month of the year had passed too. Before jumping into the New Year, let’s see how many books did I manage to read in the month of December. I read 10 books, 2105 pages.

I was in a very strong book hangover after finishing The Hero of Ages by Brandon Sanderson and I couldn’t read anything else but manga volumes. Which is great because during the autumn I barely made any progress with Fairy Tail. This month however I managed to read 3 volumes already, 34-40. I don’t really have anything new to say, I think once I finished the series I’ll make a post for the whole series. But I still love it, I love the friendships, the humour, the action. Everything.

I initially didn’t plan on adding this but after all I am studying Korean actively and in the language course I take we finished the 3rd 세종한국어 book. And I just thought I would mention it here too.

I didn’t think I’d get to it but at last I read the first part of Dangerous Women editted by George R. R. Martin and Gardner Dozois. There were great stories in it, like The Princess and the Queen by George R. R. Martin, those who are big Game of Thrones fans will definitely like it. But there were stories that just… that were just bad. But I’m still glad I came to read this book and I hope I can get to the other two volumes.

And I ended up reading one more book this month! It was To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo. I got this book from the lovely Sarah for our Secret Santa gifting and I have to say I’m really grateful she gave it to me! It’s a retelling of The Little Mermaid with a dark twist to the original story. The first day of reading it I read about half the book! Which is a big thing with me, since I’m a slow reader. There definitely will be a review for this book later on!
