FairyLoot March Unboxing

Hi folks!

I’m back with another unboxing! It’s been quite a while since I did one actually. Well, when I saw that it was FairyLoot’s 2nd anniversary I knew I had to get the box and I am very happy that I did get it! So here I am presenting you all the March box! I’m seriously content with what I’ve gotten!

The first thing I found in the box was of course the spoiler card with this month’s theme which was Memorable Moments.

The next thing I picked out of the box was this bag of hot chocolate. It’s a Toast To The Warden of The North Hot Chocolate by Eponine. This one refers to Jon Snow from Game of Thrones when he became the Warden of the North. The artwork on it was designed by Till and Dill. I’m definitely excited to try this one!

The next thing I picked out of the box was this teeny tiny Exclusive Goblet of Fire Candle by Paper Flames Candle Co. It has blue colour swirling in the white one, I can’t really put a finger on what it smells like but it does have a strong scent!

Next up we have this Exclusive Bilbo’s Birthday Cake Vegan Soap by Geeky Clean. It’s so adorable looking and it smells of vanilla and strawberry cake. I quite like the things we got in the previous boxes from Geeky Clean so I’m excited to try this one too!

Next I found this Cork Bunting and it’s by Paladone. I’ve always wanted something like this so I was excited when I found it. Though here is where i’m a little disappointed, the matterial is rather thin, I expected it to be a bit thicker? But I have to put it to use to test it, right?

If I remember right FairyLoot did mention that we were going to get a scarf in this box and we really did, an Exclusive Rune Ceremony Scarf by FictionTea Designs. If you are just a little familiar with Cassandra Clare’s books you know that these are the Shadowhunter runes. And while I’m not really fan of her books anymore this scarf looks amazing and I love anything black so I’m definitely going to put this to a good use!

And of course this month too we have Fairyscoop where they look back on the past 2 years and all the boxes. We get the bookmark with this month’s art and there is the buddy reading card. And we got some bonus items; The Belles bookmark and button.

And last but not least, the book of the month! Which is: State of Sorrow by Melinda Salisbury. We also get a handwritten note from the author, a signed book plate and a postcard with the cover design. This hardcover edition of the book was printed exclusively for FairyLoot, the standard edition is paperback so you won’t be able to get this edition anywhere else. I’ll be honest, I hasn’t heard of this book before but I’m definitely interested after reading the synopsis!

Synopsis:

A people cowed by grief and darkness.
A cut-throat race for power and victory.
A girl with everything and nothing to lose…

Sorrow all but rules the Court of Tears, in a land gripped by perpetual grief, forever mourning her brother who died just days before Sorrow was born. By day she governs in place of her father, by night she seeks secret solace in the arms of the boy she’s loved since childhood. But when her brother is seemingly found alive, and intent on taking control, Sorrow has to choose whether to step aside for a stranger who might not be who he claims to be, or embark on a power struggle for a position she never really wanted.

So that was the March FairyLoot box! In all I think I can say that it was worth to buy this box, and I can’t wait to read the book and try the things out! I hope you guys enjoyed this unboxing! Do you have a favourite item, have you heard of the book before?
